18 Hole - Par 72–5697 metres Situated on the south bank of the estuary of the River Boyne, this is
a traditional links with the reputation of a tough par of 70. Golf was
played here in 1885 and the present club was started in 1909.
As it is in a holiday resort it has always been considered a friendly,
family-orientated club, famous for producing Ryder Cup players Des Smyth
and Philip Walton who both won the captain's prize here.
This fine stretch of linksland, playable all year round, is a good test
for high and low handicaps and is renowned for the quality of its greens.
